How will  calculate the cost of your repair?

swisspdr uses the pdr.cloud software to estimate all repairs. This creates a fair price by calculating the dent size, even if the damage is above a body line or strut and if glue drawing or shrinking tools are required.

After entering all this information, the expected repair costs will be calculated and a cost estimate will be created, which will be sent by email.

Dents from80 CHF to200 CHF

Small, simple repairs often caused by minor impacts, such as: B. by opening and hitting vehicle doors on din a parking lot or by objects falling onto your vehicle in the garage.

These are typically less than 140mm in diameter and are not deep or have sharp design lines.

Dents from200 CHF to500 CHF

This type of damage is usually obvious vehicle to be recognized. This category includes dents on the body and dents larger than a hand, to deep, tricky dents often caused by things falling over in the garage or small collisions with other vehicles.

This damage requires much more skill, time and patience to restore the vehicle to “like new” condition.

Complex repairs of300 CHF up to over2000CHF

These repairs range from deep dents to complete parts e.g. Doors to major damage to several vehicle parts that appear unrepairable and require metal shrinkage using modern technologies. Examples of damage include vandalism (e.g. someone running over the roof/hood of a car), sharp, deep dents from being hit by sharp objects or severe hail damage.

This type of damage requires a high level of skill combined with modern tools and a tremendous amount of patience.

How is it calculated?

In order for damage to be assessed seriously, it must be inspected in the workshop, taking into account the factors listed below. Based on these criteria  A cost calculation can be carried out and a cost estimate can be created.

  •     Dimension of the dent in mm

  •     Shallow or deep dent

  •     Type of material

  •     over an edge or in a flat area

  •     wthe sheet metal was stretched

  •     There is already “poorly” repaired damage

  •     Factory painted or repainted

  •     Repair with adhesive technology necessary

  •     Accessible from the inside or not

  •     Are disassembly and reassembly necessary?

  •     How many dents need to be repaired

Although some dents may appear very similar, they often present different challenges to the technician and each repair requires a different approach to achieve a professional, quality repair.

The  Price ranges listed are GUIDELINES ONLY and are based on previous experience to provide an indication. It is therefore necessary to evaluate the above-mentioned factors directly on the vehicle in order to create an accurate and well-founded offer.

If you are looking for the cheapest dent repair, swisspdr may not be right for you! If you want professional service and the best possible repair quality, you've come to the right place.

The reason the price fluctuates is due to the work that may be required to gain access to the damage. Obstacles such as impact beams, reinforcing box sections, or even soundproof pads may require a different approach for the perfect repair.

Small dents
From 80 CHF to 200 CHF+

In theory, normal damage should be the easiest to repair. These dents would be fairly round in shape and would be on a flat or slightly curved part of the plate rather than being deep or elongated. While this isn't the type of dent that you can feel when you rub your hand over the surface, it is clearly visible through a reflection in the panel.

Medium to large dents
From 120 CHF to 500 CHF+

Moderate to major damage is often caused by impact, such as: E.g. minor collisions, serious door-to-door incidents in a windy parking lot and flying objects

This type of damage is usually clearly visible on your vehicle. This category includes mold line dents and dents larger than a hand.

This damage requires much more skill, time and patience to restore the repairs to “like new” condition

Complex, specialized dents
From 300 CHF to 2000 CHF+

Complex damage is more serious than normal damage. These repairs range from extremely deep dents across entire vehicle parts to major damage across multiple vehicle sections that appear unrepairable and require shrinking the metal using modern technologies. The dents are more pronounced and often have an uneven surface within the dent. Examples of damage include vandalism (e.g. someone running over the roof/hood of a car), being hit by sharp objects, or being hit by heavy hail.

This type of damage requires a high level of skill combined with state-of-the-art tools and a tremendous amount of patience.
